I recently stumbled across “Willies Workouts.” It is a promotional website for a book titled, True Handicapping. The author, Dr. William F. True (a pseudonym for Bill Peterson), makes the following statement:
“Learn how to handicap and use a horse racing system that really works. Stop guessing if a horse is ready to win and start picking winners at the track. This is the last Thoroughbred horse racing system you will ever need.”
Anyone who knows me or who has read my book knows I have never found a system in fifty years that will work for any extended period of time. I thought about buying his “guide” just for laughs, but at $35.00 I think I will save myself the agony.
If True Handicapper is indeed “the last Thoroughbred horse racing system you will ever need,” why does he sell four other expensive handicapping systems (The Sharpshooter, The Longshot Rater, Ladder Handicapping, and Harness Racing Handicapping) at another website in an effort to make money?
